Inside Chanel Series 2012 - 2021

Chanel, as in many things, was the first to really do the fashion brand history videos. And as usual, their work also tends to set a standard for anyone who chooses to follow in their footsteps. The series they created, called Inside Chanel, is made up of about 35 shorts. The one above is the first episode, which launched in 2012. The voiceover's accent is sophisticated and a bit mysterious, the imagery is captivating, and the music is entrancing. At times, it's a bit difficult to follow the details of the story shared, but I had no problem with watching it more than once. ◡̈

While many, and I do mean many, of the short videos from the series are phenomenal, I chose this one so that you could start from the beginning. But do be sure to check out the rest because they really are worth your time.

They're absolute works of art.
